PropertyAccess is a cross-border real estate platform connecting Japanese investors with Asian property markets, including the Philippines, the Middle East, and beyond.

The business was already operating across borders, facilitating transactions, partnerships, and listings across regions. What it lacked was a brand system that could carry that complexity with clarity and authority.

Design For Tomorrow, a Philippines-based branding and strategy agency with an active presence in Singapore and across Asia, clarified the shift from a listings platform to an investment gateway, aligning brand, system, and experience to build cross-market confidence.

The PropertyAccess Story

PropertyAccess had already outgrown its identity.

It facilitated Japanese investment, worked with developers, and enabled transactions across markets. Yet the brand still behaved like a listings directory: functional and polite, conventional in a category that quietly penalizes both.

Without a credible brand, cross-border platforms risk hesitation at the exact moment decisions should accelerate. That hesitation often costs both trust and transaction.

We reframed the platform as a gateway to cross-border property investment, designed for investors, overseas Filipinos (for the Philippine Office), and institutional partners navigating unfamiliar markets with real capital at stake.

From Tokyo to Taguig, Osaka to Ortigas, Singapore to Sapporo, and outward to Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and Honolulu, the platform became a system of entry points across financial, geographic, and cultural dimensions. Occasionally emotional, depending on whether interest rates are behaving like reasonable adults or unsupervised adolescents.

The task was alignment: shaping a brand that could carry a growing cross-border real estate platform in Asia with clarity and trust, without needing to explain itself twice.

We repositioned PropertyAccess as a cross-border real estate platform connecting Japan with Southeast Asian markets, including the Philippines, built on clarity, cultural fluency, and investor confidence.

Japanese visual references, including the enso, the notion of entry embodied in 入口, and the reverential presence of Mt. Fuji, were distilled into a more controlled language; familiar enough to resonate, restrained enough to remain credible across markets.

The wordmark was refined for digital clarity, with subtle inflections that echo Japanese calligraphic discipline. A fresh green palette replaced ornamental finishes. Typography was selected for legibility across interface, editorial, and investor-facing materials.

Messaging was rebuilt for precision across cultures. It was calibrated to carry meaning across markets, where language alone is rarely sufficient.

The voice needed to hold credibility with Japanese investors, clarity for overseas Filipinos, and discipline for a market where ambiguity carries financial consequences.

The result is a brand system designed for movement from pitch decks to property listings, from content to investor kits, across markets without losing coherence. Enough structure and restraint to feel dependable.

The Velaris Residences: Crafting the Essence of Intentionality

How do you live intentionally?

RHK Land, a distinguished alliance of global property developers Hong Kong Land and Robinsons Land, posed this question.

Launching the impressive second tower of its anchor development, The Velaris Residences, RHK Land tasked Design For Tomorrow to reposition the property in the overcrowded and highly competitive premium market.

This striking new vertical village of smartly conceived homes in Bridgetowne, Pasig, needed a reinvigorated tone of voice to reframe its evolving story.

Expanding on the brand identity assets and crafting an elegant and refined visual direction were employed. We were also entrusted to deliver a sophisticated and comprehensive set of value propositions. The Velaris story needed to strike a calibrated balance between subtle confidence and expressiveness. It had to speak in the familiar language of affluent home seekers acclimated to elevated experiences.

Working closely and collaboratively with RHK Land leaders and the marketing principals at Hong Kong Land, we set to redefine the brand’s fundamental strategy. The process became a delightful revelation of what makes The Velaris Residences North Tower unique.

A Discerning Life, Unfolding

The exotic magnificence of Sahasrara padma, or the Lotus of a Thousand Petals, evokes allure and wonder. As the symbol of ultimate spiritual enlightenment, the Thousand Petals is often visually depicted as an expanding mandala, unfolding endlessly into an ever-expanding state of universal, supreme consciousness. Setting the stage for a brand that continuously reveals itself, the Velaris Residences North Tower becomes A Tale of Revelations.

Underpinned by the rarity and revelatory phenomenon of A Thousand Petals, the Velaris Residences North Tower story is now crafted to embody the brand’s sensorial and experiential aspirations. We precisely layered this story with the core ethos of Robinsons-Hong Kong Land on ‘intentionality,’ which resulted in the explorations of craftsmanship, symmetry, sophisticated beauty, intrigue, and wonder. Our graphic language expands on the initial V, creating geometric patterns that reveal the intricacies of a life centered on intentional living. A tasteful tone of Velaris gold and the luxurious deep green complemented by earthy hues extended the visual language with warmth and humanity.

Crafted for Lasting Moments

Devising a verbal and visual language that induces a particular emotion, we also harnessed the multisensorial significance of scent, power, and memory. We wanted to personify a sense of timeless craftsmanship and visual refinement. Inspired by the masterful chiaroscuro of Vermeer paintings, we sought to bring the richness of the technique to sophisticated modern photography.

In a specially commissioned photo shoot for the property, we focused on dignity, intimacy, tactility, polished details, and a graceful, sleek vibe that make all the difference – the ribbed texture on the walls, the whiskey glass on the table, a couch revealed by the rays of the sun – the handcrafted nuances that articulate the vision of The Velaris North Tower to tangible reality.

An Invitation to Elevation

The idea of “life, revealed” thus became the cornerstone of The Velaris Residences North Tower’s verbal identity. We wrote a copy based on this essence conveyed throughout the property’s advertisements. We also enlivened this language style to the script for the film, which we storyboarded and delivered for production by another agency.

Bespoke illustrations evoking the lifestyle were used for the marketing collaterals.

We conceptualized a short film – from storyboard to copywriting – which our friends from RHK passed on to production house OneMotion to bring to life.

Where Details Unfold

Completing our strategy, creative direction, design, and brand execution deliveries, we shared The Velaris North Tower brand story through marketing collaterals like brochures, merchandising and promotional tokens, sales environment applications, and multiple advertisements throughout the Metro. Design For Tomorrow finally wrote, art directed, and designed the property’s coffee table book, a definitive and sumptuous window into The Velaris North Tower’s rarefied world.

Laperal Mansion: Designing for a Sharpshooting President

Laperal Mansion, a landmark property within Malacañang Palace, the seat of executive power of the Philippine Government, is being given a new life.

The Palace administration is refurbishing the controversial property into elegant suites to host dignitaries, diplomatic contingents, and government guests. In honor of past presidents, the palace’s historical stewards assigned each room to the nation’s top designers to showcase Filipino talents and celebrate local craftsmanship.

Supporting the highly referential concept proposed by Atelier Almario, Design For Tomorrow is thrilled to help visually articulate the legacy of Benigno Simeon Aquino III, one of the upstanding presidents of the Philippine Republic.

President Aquino’s feats exemplified conviction and resolve to safeguard national sovereignty and foster global cooperation. But beyond policy victories lies concrete attainment carved in the very fabric of democracy and human rights. He nurtured an environment where press freedom thrived and dissenting dialogues coursed openly. Under his watch, civil society flourished, becoming a formidable force against unchecked authority. Aquino’s commitment to democratic principles urged the citizens to value his embodiment of integrity, transparency, accountability, and earnest love for the nation and its constituencies.

Upon the invitation of Ivy and Cynthia Almario, principals of the luxury interiors practice Atelier Almario, our task centered around graphically commemorating the key goals and accomplishments of what many considered the undeniable exponent of “daang matuwid” (righteous road). His clear, definitive policies, earnest but candid speeches, steadfast drive for good governance, and public calling out of errant government leaders earned him the nickname of a marksman. The nickname is also a literal reference to his passionate recreation as a sharpshooter who enjoys rounds of hitting targets with close friends.

The Laperal Mansion room assigned to the late President PNoy (as he was commonly referred to) had a very modest footprint without any balcony and only half of a window tucked in one corner of the room. Ivy and Cynthia Almario forego the use of the narrow window that allowed the longest wall in the room as a headboard space to hang focal artworks – the pièce de résistance of the interior design concept. With Atelier Almario’s creative direction, we designed eight pieces of custom-made typographic works to memorialize the eight notable achievements of the Aquino Administration and marry it with PNoy’s love for target shooting.

The eight achievements, which include Economic Growth and Stability, Anti-corruption Campaign, Social Welfare Programs, Disaster Response and Preparedness, Foreign Policy and Territorial Disputes, Human Rights and Justice Reform, Infrastructure Development, and Institutional Strengthening, were then typographically set in the form of shooting targets.

The “targets” were then printed on paper and brought to the shooting range PNoy frequented. Atelier Almario invited his shooting range buddies to fire live ammunition rounds and hit each specific accomplishment to denote PNoy hitting his goals. The “hit bullseyes” were then framed and mounted to run the room length parallel with the headboard panel; these graphic artworks inform the guests about President Noy’s two loves: public service and hitting his targets.

Details referencing the accomplished President in a more personal way abound: Blue wallpaper references his alma mater, Ateneo; bespoke beddings designed to evoke a barong tagalog pattern he wears; and the compact disc handles of the wardrobe closet recall his love for music. We also crafted the President’s monogram, embroidered on the pillows, to complete the highly personal design that Atelier Almario sought to achieve within this space in the Laperal Mansion.

The PNoy Suite in the Laperal Mansion is humble in measure, but we are delighted to contribute to the brilliant leads at Atelier Almario’s obsessive attention to detail in capturing the spirit of the pivotal, straight-shooting leader who steered the nation’s course into a straighter path.

Bolero: Restaurant / Food & Beverage Branding Design Philippines

The culinary scene in Manila is fiercely competitive as dining experiences become not only the talk of the town but a showcase of one-upmanship.

Food & beverage brand design must be elevated to stand out amongst the vast array of equally excellent options. Despite the big risks of running a restaurant brand and the aggressiveness of competition, a band of intrepid, creative entrepreneurs envisioned an all-day-all-night place of “gastro-orgasmic” experiences from dawn to dawn.

This necessitated the creation of a restaurant brand from scratch. Something that imbues the spirit of refined gastronomy, flair, fun, and the joyful sense of Iberian buena vida.

Conceptualized by a consortium of an architect, a celebrated chef, and a seasoned marketing executive, along with their Filipino partners, tasked Design For Tomorrow to articulate the vision, define the differentiating elements, develop an unconventional identity, and create a distinct brand world for the exciting new venture.

DFT took on the challenge with mucho gusto. This became the genesis of the brand Bolero. The name expresses a sense of indulgence, mischief, and an appetite for delightful experiences, whilst also having dual language connotations. Bolero is also partly inspired by an iconic garment, a spirited dance characterized by sharp turns, dramatic pauses, and rhythmic stomping of the feet, as well as the orchestral music of Maurice Ravel. In the Philippines, bolero also means a suave, sweet-talking, and charismatic person.

Bolero takes on another passionate tradition of dancing along with great tapas and merriment of liquors at night while offering great culinary brunch and dinner explorations during the day.

Having locked in the name, DFT built a very bold and cheeky identity based on references ranging from surrealist art, vintage culinary posters, and hedonistic literature. A custom-developed wordmark became a bespoke graphic representation of the brand.

Owing up to the bold and daring concept, the wordmark is then imposed with a signature red bar, signaling the demarcation between day and night, and the line that goes between simply eating with friends and having the time of your life. It also connotes the fine line between leisure and pleasure.

The expressive identity is amplified by a vintner red palette, complemented with tongue-in-cheek copywriting, titillating the audience to discover what lies beneath the red strip.

The final restaurant branding and identity design is an exploration of anything and everything in between, swinging from gastronomy to theatricality with a suite of applications that aligns with Bolero’s aimed audiences of international expats, sophisticated locals, and cosmopolitan revelers.

Bolero’s splashy yet cultivated identity has mood, verve, unmistakable sense of self, encapsulating the restaurant’s food, environment, concept, and vibe, creating an atmosphere that is all the more seductive to the senses.

Eluria: Luxury Real Estate Branding

Crowded with numerous luxury offerings from powerful legacy real estate brands, how can a boutique property developer make a landmark project even more distinctive?

We asked this question and it immediately became the definitive gestation point for the creation of the brand Eluria. Arthaland, the farseeing developer, briefed Design For Tomorrow to craft a specific brand strategy, value proposition, identity, and expression for the überluxury property as it envisions to be an elevation from all the premium properties Arthaland already developed.

Most importantly, there is a singular imperative to expand and express what Arthaland plots the property to be “The unsurpassed sustainable luxury in Makati City.”

Instead of scoping local competitive brands, we suggested imbuing Eluria with a broadened worldview. We then initiated the assignment with a global benchmark of four exceptional real estate developments in Barcelona, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and New York.

Learnings from this exercise informed and underpinned Eluria’s differentiating brand attribute: luxury as “whispered elegance.” Five defining traits articulate this anchor concept: Embodies beautiful symmetry; Exudes an understated sophistication; Demonstrates elevated refinery; Evokes the pleasures and allures of life; Imbibes the lightness of being.

Having strategically profiled and understood the specific target audiences of Eluria’s 37 ultraluxe units, DFT framed the real estate brand’s values: illustriousness, luminosity, awe-inspiring, inimitability, and, central to it all, sustainability. We drew a clear essence from these values: “Peerless Urbanity.” This is further distilled into the resulting brand line, “Radiance of Life Refined,” which became the foundation for external communication concepts like the brand film.

After comprehensively defining the brand, we progressed into designing the extensive identity, expressions, art direction, visual signatures, and experiential elements. These custom and proprietary components became the tangible manifestation of the Eluria brand, that are consistently applied to suites of marketing and promotional collaterals, communications, and advertising, as well as a showroom experience unconventional in real estate standards, including exclusive buyers’ gift sets.

Externally rolled out during the annual stockholders’ meeting, Eluria successfully reinvented luxury real estate marketing dynamics while authentically adhering to its core defining mission: sustainability as the soul of an elevated way of life.

Noteworthy Nomenclature.

Eluria’s name is a minted evocation of “elan,” meaning flourish, illuminate, allure + “via,” meaning a way of life + “ya,” meaning house. Combined, these words lead to “a house flourishing with beauty and light” or “path to illumination.” In Hebrew, Eluria also means “precious flower.”

Daily Rhythms Captured In Bespoke Patterns.

Part of Eluria’s sense of place is the observant quality of how life unfolds along Rada Street (where it will occupy), the neighboring parks, and the slice of living and working transitions that define the beats and rhythms of Makati. These rhythms – expressed through a series of custom patterns that echo the brand strategy – become graphic elements to visualize life unfolding in the neighborhood.

With Fort Bonifacio rapidly rising as a global city, how can a real estate brand like Eluria capitalize on Makati’s clout as the Philippines’ preeminent metropolis? Our placemaking strategy highlights the many undefeated elements that make Rada in Makati encircled by – and saturated with – charms and textures that emerging districts cannot easily replicate. It remains a premier place for living, working, leisure, commerce, and pleasure.

The Soul of Strategy

Emotion, function, affirmation, aspiration, and significantly purposeful vision underline the essence of the real estate brand Eluria. We conveyed only the essential elements that matter to the project and ingrained these decisive qualities into the overall goals of Arthaland and the brand’s intention.

Elevated by Design

Eluria’s architecture, with its “contemporary treehouse” concept integrated with the interiors’ Japanese philosophy of Wabi-sabi, is the masterful execution of FMB Architects’ Michael Banak. The elegant structure evokes understated luxury but incorporates state-of-the-art technology and a rich, unsurpassed array of green features. The real estate development has already garnered LEED, WELL CORE, EDGE, and BERDE certifications without compromising amenities, qualities, and ideals.

Typographic Exclusivity

DFT commissioned a bespoke typeface from Tudotype Foundry‘s João Miranda that speaks of the brand’s values, aspirations, and personality.

Eluria Capitals’ custom characters pursue the idea of rich sharpness with elegant minimalism that comes across through the replacement of serifs so commonly associated with this genre of typefaces, embracing the idea of strength applied in letter carving.

The final output is a beautiful set of capital letters infused with a variety of discretionary ligatures that create unique letter combinations, allowing each word to be as distinctive and crafted as possible through this system of letters.

Although it doesn’t replace the craft present in lettering, Eluria Capitals works hard to make the most beautiful group of letters feel as unique and distinctive as possible.

Editorial Elegance

Drawing from DFT’s extensive editorial and publishing expertise, a lush (soon-to-be-launched) monograph will be the most tactile expression of Eluria’s vision. Written in a defined Eluria brand tone of voice that avoids superlatives and pandering writing prevalent in property development marketing, the monograph uses expressive, intimate language that mirrors the real estate property’s ethos with clarity and passion.

Staying true to Arthaland’s sustainable brand DNA, the production values echo the same obsessive attention to detail. Specifications include premium FSC-certified paper and non-toxic vegetable inks.

A weighty custom hardwood case with a laser-cut logo on two sides tangibly and luxuriously articulate the Eluria values.

Delight and Subtlety – The Mastery of Experience Choreography

Staging a premium showroom experience with potential clients attuned to the codes of luxury is no easy feat. A dedicated luxury vehicle conveys showroom guests from their origin into the discreet experience suite. In every touchpoint of the real estate brand experience – from appointment to exit – the Eluria values are embedded and delivered in a nuanced but seamless way.

No garish branding will assertively confront guests emerging from the exclusive elevator (mimicking the future experience that elevators will open to each unit) and the spacious vestibule.

A discreet experience. No logo greets guests at the vestibule of the private showroom. Instead, the intriguing title of the Eluria monograph is emblazoned in situ to intrigue the imagination and heighten a sense of discovery.

Artistic Flourish

Steering the brand expression from an aggressive commercial sense, DFT proposed and injected some artistic interpretation of the Eluria real estate brand.

We commissioned renowned ceramicist John Pettyjohn to craft limited and numbered editions of exclusive ceramics in a custom Eluria box – given as gifts to select prospective clients. These deluxe tokens eschew the throwaway practices of cheap promotional items.

Architect and artist Jem Magbanua developed organic art prints illustrating the key differentiating amenities like the rooftop Potager Garden, the Eluria indoor garden, and the sustainable aspects of the units.

The Shape Of Us – Evoking A Vision Of A Distinct Life

Having delivered an expansive strategy, then crystalizing it with an original, elegant identity, Arthaland extended our real estate brand work by insisting that DFT conceive the Eluria films instead of passing the interpretation to an outsider.

DFT delivered a film narrative composed of vignettes that give a window into the passions, pursuits, and values that bind the people who will occupy these tasteful spaces.

Produced at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film’s realization has various complex challenges: logistical restrictions, multiple last-minute cancellations, social distancing regulations, shortened production windows, and limited talent availability, amongst other things.

In the end, as the film line puts it profoundly, we are driven by the things that truly matter and capture our hearts.

Dignity And Prestige: As Long As It Takes

DFT also conceived a second film to manifest the brand’s concept of devoted, personalized service – a key differentiating proposition of Eluria among competing real estate brands. Instead of a standard concierge service, we upped the ante of luxury developments by proposing prestige services through professionally-trained butlers – pioneering the next level of premium experiences in the Philippine real estate sector. The film articulates the many attentive and anticipatory activities extended to residents and the distinctive element of Eluria – the irreplaceable human touch.

ABS-CBN Broadcasting: Studio Experience Strategy & Design

As we were once enthralled by the spectacle of the television, it always crossed our minds to just reach to the screen and be part of the experience. ABS-CBN, one of the Philippines’ leading media networks, has always been at the heart of the Filipino people, and this childlike wonder was realized through the creation of the ABS-CBN Studio Experience.

Envisioned to be an immersive experience and an exercise of the senses, it is a place where fans, enthusiasts, and the ABS-CBN community can converge for fun activities bringing the shows’ studios to life, igniting the childlike wonder of being in a primetime show and the thrill of being part of a star-studded network. And with such a popular lineup of programs, variety shows, and celebrities, how can an indoor themed set of spaces blend it all into one blockbuster experience?

ABS-CBN’s licensing, merchandising, and theme park teams, along with Grit Design, collaborated with Design For Tomorrow to create a logo and branding to realize this vision. DFT devised the customer journey mapping, brand experience design, brand touchpoints applications, wayfinding system, and environment graphics, expanding to sectional and thematic branding as well.

A logo that encapsulates the experience of going behind the scenes connotes that one takes hold of the camera, essentially “seeing and capturing the television moment” as they enter the spaces. “Lights, Camera, Action!” sets the studio’s theme, with the RGB brand colors reference the graphic language of television as well as the logo of ABS-CBN itself set within the themed spaces’ sectional branding. The tri-color coding system is incorporated in the navigation and wayfinding system, becoming a demarcation for the 3 distinct space clusters. Then, a visual language that simulates actual studio and theater elements such as marquee lights was incorporated to echo the fantasy further.

The ABS-CBN Studio Experience wasn’t only an opportunity to enhance the customer brand experience for the network, but a physical retail opportunity as well to promote and sell ABS-CBN and the respective shows’ branded merchandise.

Completing the task is the brand application guidelines to guide a consistent application of the brand identity across all communication platforms and touchpoints.

The simulation of live studio production, the immersive “backstage” experience, and the excitement of being in a place that was once only seen on TV are all made tangible and emotional with a special place where wonder and interactivity intersects, bringing ABS-CBN closer to its viewers’ hearts.

Kind Kones: Rebranding Design

Kind Kones’ journey started four years ago, with a small ice cream machine Serina and Ish have at home. As people who cannot consume dairy, what they managed to produce is an exceptional dessert delicious enough to drive them into establishing the first plant-based frozen dessert shop in Malaysia.

Being the pioneer for the product itself in the country, they understood that it was not just about introducing it to the public; it was also about educating the people. Kind Kones, as their name entails, was founded on the principles of being kind to one’s health, the planet, animals, and each other. Keeping all of these principles in mind while still making the experience for their customers fun and indulgent, they were credited as the store that “makes vegan cool”.

In 2020, Design for Tomorrow collaborated with Kind Kones with the objective of rebranding both their design and strategy. The challenge is to make the brand packaging stand out amid a slew of competitors, expand its target market to include the supermarket category, and veer away from the niche vegan category. The brand will be reintroduced to the market as a plant-based frozen dessert for all, highlighting inclusivity while still maintaining their sophisticated brand identity.

In order to make the promotion of Kind Kones’ healthy desserts and honest ingredients a fun experience, Design for Tomorrow rebranded it in an abstract and graphic but controlled and sophisticated way. The color palette from an interior sent by the owners became the inspiration to create a unique color system for the brand identity. We have spotlighted the delightful ingredients and incorporated them into the brand language created for generic retail design and the different flavors of the plant-based frozen dessert. A unique wordmark that perfectly encapsulates Kind Kones’ goal to stand out was created for the brand. The wordmark, as well as the colors, are applied to the brand’s collaterals and merchandise.

Through a carefully thought-of design, a bespoke wordmark, and the application of the strategy and innovation in the overall concept, Design for Tomorrow was able to present Kind Kones as a brand that radiates fun, playfulness, and indulgence. With a new guise, the beloved plant-based frozen dessert has been elevated to a masstige experience – marrying premium and inclusivity whilst indulging a vast majority of current and new customers alike with enormous delight. It is an approachable luxury brand of plant-based frozen desserts that caters to and gives everyone an enjoyable dessert experience.

Panzzian: Resort Branding Philippines

Ten hours’ drive from Manila, intermittent (and often no) mobile phone signal, no television, and no internet connections were just a few of the amenity challenges of the owners of Pannzian when they came to Design For Tomorrow for a branding upgrade in 2015. They sought to revitalize the resort, redesign their logo, and come up with a fetching set of propositions and narratives.

Pannzian is a small family-owned beachfront property — a parcel of a sprawling ancestral hacienda in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. Originally a cluster of huts for the family and guests’ weekend getaway, it slowly grew into a small resort preferred by city-dwellers looking for a provincial retreat, homecoming balikbayans seeking a quiet place, and families in the neighboring provinces looking for a weekend excursion.

When Pagudpud shot into international fame as a surfing destination, plenty of new beachfront properties came to be. Aside from fierce competition, the need for Pannzian to attract new customers prompted the discussion for brand revitalization.

Our team immersed ourselves in Pagudpud, visiting and sampling neighboring properties, talking and listening to the Pannzian community’s stories, trekking the mountainous and river parts of the hacienda, and relishing the indigenous cuisine and local crafts. We also invited master planning and architectural teams to map out physical overhaul and interior redesign potentials.

Then we recommended a more authentic route in presenting the challenges of the place. Instead of glossing over the lack of modern conveniences, we repositioned Pannzian as a place for “digital detox” or a non-pretentious place for complete disconnection from all the unpleasant intrusions of urban technology-soaked life.

Highlighting an experience of homecoming to natural wealth, the largely unspoiled property’s mountains, hills, rivers, farms, and seaside spots become an appealing backdrop for either active adventure or a serene respite.

The curving part of the wordmark encapsulates the easy rhythm of this hidden place of harmony. It also visually echoes the waves, the river’s slow current, and the hacienda’s slopes. Then we produced largely unretouched photos of the place, the people, the heirloom recipes, and activities to be had as a window into Pannzian. We then embedded the property’s adopted community’s stories and activities, providing an immersive opportunity, participation (guests can help catch fish and given a share of the catch), and active engagement.

Considering the long travel, we also made an experiential guide embedding gastronomic and cultural discoveries along the way.

The revitalization successfully raised the profile and perception of the brand as a rustic destination for blissful disconnection.

Marquis: Events Place Branding Design

Three entrepreneurial sisters commissioned Design For Tomorrow to develop a brand narrative and identity surrounding their grandfather’s legacy. The grandfather inspired them to be courageous entrepreneurs. It’s only fitting that they honor him by creating a brand based on the story that truly moved and inspired him: the ancient Japanese legend of A Thousand Cranes.

According to this legend, if you fold a thousand origami cranes, the gods will grant the fondest wishes of your heart. The grandfather also published a book about the mythical cranes. And this book became the foundation of the sister’s hospitality business that needed a brand as they prepared to launch a luxury events space at the heart of the premier Fort Bonifacio Global City.

The name Marquis is already chosen and registered, the interior concept by HBA ongoing and in an active round of development, and all design work had to be evaluated for Feng Shui considerations.

DFT’s task goes beyond rendering the ideas into graphic form. The brand had to unite all the elements, including environments, experiences, visual communications, wayfinding, marketing collaterals, product, and amenities design.

A modified typeface resulted in a custom wordmark referencing the grandfather’s description of the elegance of the legs of the cranes while giving the nod to the three sisters who are pillars of this new enterprise. The ‘M’ marque carries the same idea. Patterns inspired by the folds of origami became a prominent brand language applied across touchpoints from uniforms, advertising, interior details to furniture design.

Finally, DFT developed the brand essence, “Inspired spaces for inspiring moments,” which cemented the brand’s proposition in the mind of audiences who do not aspire to the ordinary.

Arthaland: Sustainable Real Estate Rebranding Design

Arthaland is a boutique luxury developer with pioneering LEED-certified projects that established itself at the forefront of green and sustainable development. Its portfolio includes benchmark-setting projects like Arya Residences, Cebu Exchange, Arthaland Century Pacific Tower, and Savya Financial Center.

After a successful initial collaboration for the branding and vision articulation of Sevina Park, Arthaland tasked Design For Tomorrow to refresh its corporate master brand.

Following a series of audits and revalida sessions with principal stakeholders and key management, we repositioned the brand from “Future Proof By Design” into “Building Sustainable Legacies,” fully capturing the brand’s essence. After which, we delivered a refined icon, sophisticated wordmark, a design system, and a detailed brandbook to guide the refreshed brand’s implementation.
